Don Omar, Teddy Swims and Rod Wave Are All Playing Three Blocks From Us This Week

Capital One Arena on F Street NW in Washington DC, a short walk from I Street Capsule Hostel

Most weeks Capital One Arena gives you a hockey game or two. This week it has a lineup that would make a festival jealous, and it’s all about a five-minute walk from our front door.

Don Omar brings The Last King World Tour to DC on Thursday

Reggaeton royalty is in town. Don Omar plays Capital One Arena on Thursday, October 15, at 8:00 pm, on his Last King World Tour. If “Danza Kuduro” has ever made it onto your playlist, you already know what this room is going to sound like. It also lands on the last night of Hispanic Heritage Month, which feels about right.

Fair warning: the fall dates on this tour have been selling out, so face-value seats are scarce. Check the arena’s official ticket links for any last-minute releases before you go to resale. Capital One Arena event listings

Our tip: the arena is at 601 F St NW, three blocks south of us. Walk there, and walk back. After a sold-out show the Gallery Place Metro platforms get packed, and by the time the crowd clears you could already be in bed.
